This year’s Kennedy-Mars on Easter Saturday, April 4, features both permanent and temporary route changes. In Maasbracht, the route is being structurally adjusted due to a new aid station at Scouting Pey in Peij, meaning the traditional section around the harbor of Maasbracht will be discontinued.

From now on, the route will go via Op de Berg, Kempweg, Kloosterstraat, and Hoofdstraat. In addition, there is a temporary diversion in Nieuwstadt due to roadworks; as a result, walkers will not pass through Reinald van Gelrestraat or the community center on Millenerstraat.

Due to delayed roadworks on Parklaan in Sittard, the routes for the Swentibold-Mars and Mini-Mars have also been adjusted. For now, participants will leave the city center via ’t Sjteegske, with signage along the way clearly marked with arrows as always. Check here for all route information:
