It should be broken in, flexible, and comfortable, and not too tight. This is because your feet swell slightly after walking for a while. Shoes that are too loose are disastrous, as your feet will start to slide. Any irregularities on the inside or damaged linings are out of the question. Thick soles prevent you from feeling every pebble after a few hours. Sneakers are very suitable as long as it stays dry. However, in heavy rain or puddles, you&#8217;ll quickly get wet feet. With soaked feet, you don&#8217;t stand a chance. Your best bet is to pick out a good pair of hiking boots.         <\/p>\n\n\n\r\n<div class=\"blink-block empty-space empty-space--medium \" ><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sokken\">Socks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Socks should be dry, seamless, without darning, and well-fitting. Remove any lint. Folds are disastrous. You should make any hard spots flexible by rubbing and kneading them. Bringing spare socks is preferred. Even if you don&#8217;t get wet feet, it&#8217;s nice to be able to put on clean socks halfway through, for example.     <\/p>\n\n\n\r\n<div class=\"blink-block empty-space empty-space--medium \" ><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kleding\">Clothing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Clothing should be comfortable and &#8220;breathable.&#8221; Tracksuits are fine, provided they are not made of synthetic materials.
